Self-hosted control panel

One panel for
every server
you run.

S2Panel is the modern hosting control panel — websites, DNS, SSL, email, databases and backups — that manages a whole fleet of servers from one place, not one box at a time.

Everything, in one place

The whole hosting stack, without the sprawl.

Each module is built in and works together — provision a site and its DNS, SSL, mailboxes and backups follow, on whichever server you placed it.

Multi-VPS fleet

Run a fleet, manage one panel.

Register a server, run one line on it, and a pull-agent connects it home — no inbound ports, no SSH keys to hand out. Place sites on any node and steer their work to it automatically.

Websites & File Manager

Create a site, get an nginx vhost, PHP pool and a live File Manager. Edits go straight to the document root — save a file, it's live.

Free SSL

Let's Encrypt issued and renewed automatically, or bring your own certificate.

Email

Per-domain mailboxes with Postfix & Dovecot — the panel is the source of truth.

Private DNS server

Your own ns1/ns2 nameservers. Point a domain, the zone is served — glue included.

Databases

Provision MySQL/MariaDB with one click and jump straight into phpMyAdmin.

Backups & restore

Scheduled ZIP archives to local or cloud storage, with one-click restore points.

Browser SSH & SFTP

A real terminal and chroot-jailed SFTP per site — no desktop client needed.

One-click apps

Install WordPress and friends in a click from the built-in app catalogue.

Add a server

A new node joins in one line.

No control panel to install per box, no keys to copy. Register the server in the panel, run the command it hands you, and it reports in — behind NAT or a firewall, it still works, because the agent always dials out.

STEP 01

Register

Add the server in the panel and copy its one-time install command with the token baked in.

STEP 02

Run one line

Paste it on the VPS as root. It installs the agent, wires up systemd and starts polling.

STEP 03

Online

Within seconds the node turns ONLINE and is ready to host sites you place on it.

root@web-05 — bash
# paste the command the panel gave you
$ curl -fsSL https://s2panel.com/api/agent/install.sh | sudo bash -s -- 's2a_…'

✓ web-05 is ONLINE — ready for placements.

Questions

Everything you were about to ask.

Is S2Panel free?

Yes — S2Panel is self-hosted with no per-server or per-account license fee. You bring the servers; the panel runs on them and everything it manages is yours.

What do I need to run it?

A fresh Ubuntu or Debian VPS. The one-line installer sets up the control panel and its services; adding more servers to the fleet is another single command per box.

Does it replace cPanel or aaPanel?

It covers the same ground — websites, DNS, SSL, email, databases, file management, backups — with a modern interface, and adds multi-server fleet management that traditional per-box panels don't.

Can I add servers behind NAT or a firewall?

Yes. Each node runs a pull-agent that dials the control panel and claims work — nothing connects inbound to the server, so no ports need opening and no SSH keys are shared.

Can I resell hosting on my own brand?

That's a core use case. Run your own ns1/ns2 nameservers, brand the panel, and give each customer their own sites, mailboxes, DNS and backups.

Where does my data live?

On your servers, always. S2Panel is the software that runs your infrastructure — there's no external service holding your sites, databases or customer data.

Bring your servers. We'll bring the panel.

Stand up the control panel in about a minute, then add nodes one line at a time.
